    If you’re going to read this you need to brace yourself for a few hundred chapters of a guy struggling with his modern morals. Then you’ll get to the good part where Shang gets op, goes through massive time skips, and turns into a character reminiscent of Fang Yuan himself

      lol what the hell? this is like one of the best dark fantasy novels out there, if you think the writing is bad the problem is with you or its because you dont like the first training arc, i promise you that if you pull through and read until later on in the story you will get the best dark fantasy novel out there

        Question: Does he ever get over the trauma of dealing with with those students? It started getting annoying when it kept being brought up all the time. I don’t just mean pushing it aside for it to come back up later but really getting over it. Does he?

        I'm going to give you a big spoiler that will probably save you from the stress and masochism of those who like it here. . . . . There it goes . . . . MC has no social relationships, the whole world creates forced situations to drive his head crazy, world building remains a mystery at the beginning and then something vague, very shallow is given. It's an eternal training arc, to destroy all your friends and the world in the end, only the powers and fights that are interesting.

        That’s good to know I came here because I wanted to try reading dark novels and I was told this was where to go. The darkest thing I’ve read so far is LoTM. It took me a couple of days to pick it back up after the first arc with the baby 😬 then a few weeks when Amon first did his thing with the clone thing in the capital 🫣 And now I’m scared of babies, monocles and pointed hats. Child of fate did not make it better either. Adam creeps me out too. I don’t even know why I try so hard to read these dark novels 😮‍💨

        oh by like the 60th chapter or so alex is no more and the actual mc comes out, hes just far too naive now but he will be gone for a long time after that significant development

    How strong is he now at the end of the novel ? Like at least can destroy planets? If god can create a planet he should able to destroy one ?

      He can destroy universes as we know it easily because we saw that the first god created the universe where earth resides here effortlessly, but the novel revolves around cosmoses and unfortunately aterium is an incomplete cosmos, its flawed so what you can get there is very limited however at the end of the novel during his travel inside chaos its stated hes grown stronger than ever, id say probably the 13th realm but not the 14th because you need your own cosmos for it

        It's not like that in one of the chapters I don't remember I heard that the earth's universe was created by a mana of an ancestral mage which considered very small in normal circumstances and I think he can destroy and build he's own universe it needs less mana and can't reach the power of atrium

    Dude this novel was a absolutely amazing Rollercoaster from emotional moments to absolutely insane fights. The ending makes me more excited to read LITOW and I wonder if his new work Kill the Sun is connect as well. 10/10 novel. Thank you for writing this story Author.

      If you thought these fights were hype LITOW is absolutely going to blow your mind, the fights on that novel are insane, they are the best I've seen (except for the final fight, which you will understand when you get there, it was more like a 'moment')
